Many say that life entered the human body by the help of music, but the truth is that life itself is music.

– Hafiz, Sufi Poet

Harmonize your being with a Sound Bath

Allow the oscillation and resonance of frequencies created by crystal singing bowls, chimes, rattles, percussions, and gongs to harmonize your being. During a sound bath the healing frequencies of these instruments interact with your own subtle body, allowing you to enter a state of deep relaxation.

Another common effect of attuning to the frequencies and sound waves is dropping into a deep meditative state, wherein you may experience a state of spaceless and timeless presence. This is a space often called lucid dreaming, and can be a fertile ground for working with your subconscious being and seeding new visions within your mind, heart, and life.

A sound bath can be a private experience, or created for couples or groups.

“Several major physiological systems responded to the simple act of sitting quietly and giving the mind a focus (such as sound or music): the metabolism decreased, the heart rate slowed, respiratory rate decreased, and there were distinctive brain waves.”

Cardiologist Herbert Benson, M.D. Head of the Behavioral Medicine Department and Mind/Body Medical Institute at Harvard University Medical School

“Do you know that our Soul is composed of Harmony?”

Leonardo Da Vinci, Notebooks (1451-1519)

“Since the human body is over seventy percent water and since sound travels five times more efficiently through water than through air, sound frequency stimulation directly into the body is a highly efficient means for total body stimulation, especially at the cellular level. Direct stimulation of living cellular tissue using sound frequency vibration has shown marked cellular metabolism and therefore a possible mobilization of a cellular healing response.”

Jeffrey Thompson, Director of the Center for Neuroacoustic Research at The California Institute for Human Science

After meeting and hearing Margaret Tilly play for him, Carl Jung said: “I don’t know what’s happening to me. What are you doing?” After describing some of her case histories, he said, “This opens up whole new avenues of research I’d never even dreamed of, not because of what you’ve said, but what I’ve actually felt and experienced. I feel that from now on music should be an essential part of every analysis, because it reaches the deep archetypal work with patients.”

What you can expect in a Sound Bath

During a sound bath we always begin by connecting and grounding together in a meditation, this allows everyone to attune with present moment awareness, and for you to internally connect and express any intentions you are bringing to the experience. In a pure sound bath you will be invited to lay down on a mat, with an option to cover your eyes and create a comfortable resting position for receiving the vibrations and frequencies from the various instruments.

Participants are encouraged to connect with the breath and remain open to the experience as the instruments begin and continue to sound. You may experience sensations in parts of the body that are revealing information, harmonizing or releasing energy. Most often people experience profound relaxation, and a different sensation of time and space realities. Each journey is incredibly unique.

Average sessions are 60-75 minutes.

Sessions can be booked for 1:1, couples, or groups.

Sound baths combine in a beautiful synergy with Yin Yoga, Cacao Ceremony, Clarity Breathwork, or both.

Here are some recommendations to consider before a Clarity Breathwork in Manuel Antonio, or online

  1. Avoid eating a heavy meal at least two hours before the session.
  2. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
  3. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
  4. Avoid alcohol and recreational drugs for at least 24 hours before the session.
  5. Arrive on time to allow yourself to settle in and prepare mentally and emotionally.
  6. Avoid wearing strong perfumes or scents, as this can affect others in the session.
  7. If you have any medical concerns or conditions, please inform the facilitator beforehand.

These recommendations are designed to ensure that you are comfortable and prepared for the session and to help maximize the benefits of the sound bath experience.
